Realm of sun, ski slopes and good food, Alta Badia, in winter, is a real paradise for skiers and not only. The atmosphere is an unforgettable combination of sparkling snow, fascinating views and distinct flavours of South Tyrolean dishes. Wrapped in white, the Dolomites radiate indescribable magic. It’s something to try at least once in a lifetime… to come back again and again.
Here, in Alta Badia, skiing in winter is not just sport and fun – it’s simply a lifestyle. Here you will find perfectly prepared ski slopes (more than 130 km in Alta Badia alone), modern ski lifts and convenient connections with the other areas of Dolomiti Superski through world-famous circuits such as the Sellaronda and the First World War Tour. Setting off from San Cassiano, you can explore more than 500 km on your skis. But we would still recommend, at least occasionally, to take it easy, enjoy the scenery and let yourself soak up the lively atmosphere of the mountain restaurants.
The enchanting landscapes of Alta Badia offer various alternatives to alpine skiing and snowboarding. If you wish, you can go Nordic skiing along the various trails of the Cross-Country Ski Centre in Armentarola, just 3 km away from San Cassiano. Otherwise, try ski mountaineering and off-piste descents (suitable equipment and adequate experience are obligatory). But Alta Badia offers lots of emotions even without skis on your feet. Good winter shoes and a backpack are enough to make exciting discoveries. There are lots of well-groomed paths for winter hikes. And, if you want to go further, just wear a pair of snowshoes.
One of the most beautiful and versatile holiday areas, Alta Badia is a true paradise for families. There are activities for every taste and every age. Ski beginners (both kids and adults) can enjoy a vast choice of easy slopes accompanied by highly qualified ski instructors. And if you are ready for real ski adventures, there are different snow parks and fun slopes. But skis are actually not a must for having fun here. Exciting toboggan runs, horse-drawn sleigh rides, characteristic Christmas markets, various sporting and cultural events - the Dolomites are also all of this. Enjoy and share it with your most loved ones!
For short stays (less than 4 nights) a surcharge may apply.
Prices do not include the tourist tax of 2.50 euro per person (over 14 years old) per day.
The reservation is considered confirmed only after the payment of a deposit equal to 20% of the total amount of your stay. In case of cancellation, the deposit will be retained as cancellation penalty. In case of late arrival, early departure or lower number of guests, the entire booked stay will be charged.
For the final balance we accept cash, credit/debit cards or bank transfer.
Check-in: starting from 3 p.m. If check-in is expected after 21:00, please inform us in advance about your approximate arrival time.
Check-out: till 10 a.m.
Smoking is not permitted inside the apartments.
